Frequently Asked Questions for Artists

How do I submit a piece?
Glad you asked! Artists must email (submissions@art4art.info) their submission form and chose either of our two shipping options. S ubmission must include pictures with the following information:

1. Artist Name:
2. Artist Age:
3. Title of Piece:
4. Artist Medium:
5. Size (and weight if applicable)
6. Artist City:
7. Shipping option *listed below
8. Start price (price your bid starts at);
Reserve price (minimum price you will let it sell for); and
Buy now price (price you will accept to end bidding early).

* Photos must be submitted with a soild color background; the piece must be completely centered as we will crop and remove the background. If you are able to do so yourself, that is fine, too!

9. OPTIONAL: Mini-bio.

  • Bios will be included in the description of the art along with the possibility of being chosen for our Weekly Artist Highlight!
  • Weekly Artist Highlight means we post a little bit about you, your submitted piece, links to your social media or business page all on our social media pages!


*Art4Art reserves the right to deny submissions and is not required to upload medias if they do not meet requirements. Art4Art also reserves the right to put a hold on submissions if artists do not complete the submission form, or their photos are not up to standards.

How do I ship a piece?

  • Artists have the option to ship their artwork through our discounted shipping services (up to $10.00--details listed below);
  • Artists can use their own shipping services to mail to our office; OR
  • Artists may hold their works until it sold and will be required to cover their own shipping costs once they recieve their payout.


*Terms and Conditions of our shipping service*
If you use our shipping services, we will send you a parcel and return label for a discount up to $10.00 USD. This means any shipping under $10.00 USD will be covered by us. If it exceeds $10.00, you will be required to pay the difference.
In order to qualify for our shipping service, you must email (submissions@art4art.info) with your
1. Piece dimension
2. Weight
3. Address. It will take 3-5 business days before your parcel and label arrive.

How many pieces am I allowed to submit?
Artists are limited to five entries.

Is there a size or weight limit?

  • If artists ship their own piece, there is no weight limit.
  • If artists use our shipping services, the piece may not exceed 150 pounds.

How long does my art stay posted?
Auctions are scheduled for 6.5 weeks (45 days); unless buy now option has been selected, or artist chooses to reauction their piece.

Am I able to choose a reserve price ?
Yes.
*Reserve price is the lowest price a piece can be sold for.

Am I able to choose my buy-now price?
Yes.
*Buy now price is the set price the artist is willing to sell their piece to end the auction.

Can I just donate art and not receive the proceeds?
Yes!

Once my piece is sold, when will I receive my commission?
Artists should except to see their commission between 3-8 business days depending on their shipment process.

Am I allowed to reauction my pieces?
Absolutely!

If I am not satisfied with my bid results, am I allowed to get my piece return?
Opon request you may have your art returned to you.

How do I make an account?
Users will create a username and password and recieve an email to verify their account.

How do I make a payment?
Users can checkout using PayPal or any prefered credit card.

Will my payments be automatic?
Users have the option to turn on and off automatic payments. If automatic payments are off, auction winners have 3 days to pay or artist may chose to decline said bid or restart the auction.

Is there a buy now option?
Yes. Simply select "Add to Cart". The price is set by the Artist.

How many times can I bid on one piece?
There are no limits to how many times users can bid
*Bidding must be in a minmum of 5 USD increments.
How long does shipping take?
Please allow 5-7 business days for your parcel to arrive.
